Is Motion Graphics different from 2D Animation?

Yes. Motion is design-first — typography, brand systems, explainer storytelling. 2D Animation is character and frame-by-frame craft. Both share principles but lead to different career paths.

Do I need to know After Effects already?

No. The After Effects Core module takes you from interface to expressions in 8 weeks.

Will I learn 3D as well?

Yes. The Cinema 4D module gives you production-ready 3D motion graphics — a major differentiator for agency hiring.

How marketable is a Motion Designer in India today?

Extremely. SaaS, edtech, OTT, fintech, and ad agencies are all hiring motion designers as a default in-house role.

Can I freelance after this course?

Yes. Many graduates go freelance within 3 – 6 months. We cover client pitching, project pricing, and portfolio strategy in the capstone module.

Is the course delivered online?

No. Storyboard runs on-campus programmes only at our Mira Road East studio — the hands-on lab time is the entire point.
